| Beaver damage on our land also includes maturing trees. Just a couple beavers can take down dozens of trees in a single winter/spring season. |

Elk can damage both large and small Trees. Besides the obvious antler scraping, they constantly eat the top shoots. It may take 10 to 15 years for a tree to reach above head height (compared to normal growth of about 2 feet per year). |
